East of England Subject Forums

Developing strong subject expertise in teachers is one of the key factors in ensuring pupils’ success. Five Teaching School Hubs across the Eastern Region (Alpha, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Chafford Hundred, Saffron and Unity) have joined together to run a programme of Subject Forums for both primary and secondary colleagues at all stages of their careers.

These remote sessions are designed to provide teachers with subject specific insights into evidence informed practice as a starting point to further reflection, professional learning and development of greater expertise.

All the forums are led by subject experts drawn from the Curriculum Hubs, Subject Association networks, ITT providers and practitioner expertise from across our wider region. The National Association of School-Based Teacher Trainers (NASBTT) and the Curriculum Hubs are working together with the TS Hubs to ensure the Subject Forums complement the work of existing NASBTT and Hub activity. We will signpost offers from the Curriculum Hubs in the Eastern Region.
