Essential Governor Training
This event will take place between 7:00pm and 8:30pm on 01/03/2021
Online CPD course run by the Saffron Teaching School Hub
This online course is for primary school governors and will be led by Jan Meyer, a Co-Chair of Governors who has experienced an Ofsted Inspection under the current EIF Framework.
What does the course cover?
- Prior to the training Jan will complete a website review for your school
- Access to an online pre-training task
- Jan will share the processes and systems for governance developed at schools
- Provision of all resources following the session
- Follow on support if required
Course presenter
Jan Meyer is Co-Chair of Governors at Polegate Primary School in East Sussex. The school was inspected by Ofsted prior to lockdown and achieved an outstanding overall effectiveness judgement, including governance as a contribution to leadership and management.

How will the course be delivered?
This course will be delivered online via Zoom.

Monday 1st March 2021, 19:00 – 20:30 (one-hour training session and 30 minutes for follow up questions)
