Developing Shared Approaches in Maths and Science: Research & Innovation Work Group

Venn Essex Maths Hub, in conjunction with the Southend, Essex & Thurrock Science Learning Partnership, are delighted to offer this Research and Innovation Work Group (RIWG), which allows Maths and Science teachers to collaborate on common themes.
Maths skills are often taught differently across departments. In this Work Group, Maths and Science teachers work collaboratively. This training programme uses expertise from the Venn Essex Maths Hub and the Southend, Essex & Thurrock Science Learning Partnership to consider how to improve outcomes for pupils.
The aim of this RIWG is to develop an understanding between departments of the differences and similarities that occur within them, to make the learning journey more coherent for students.
This face-to-face event concludes this year's Work Group and will also launch our 2022-23 Work Group. Everyone is welcome!
There will be time to visit the zoo, experience animal action, have lunch and do CPD activities.
