East of England KS5 Maths Conference

Venue: STEM Discovery Centre, Stevenage

Overview

A celebration of all things KS5, from Core Maths to Uni Admissions tests.

This one-day conference at the STEM Discovery Centre, home of the Mars Rover, is organised jointly by the AMSP and the East of England NCETM Maths Hubs and will showcase current outstanding professional development opportunities for teachers of maths in our communities. 

The conference will feature a keynote talk from Ben Sparks and a choice of sessions throughout the day focusing on:

• Core Maths
• A level Maths 
• A level Further Maths/University Admission Tests
• Transition to KS5 Maths

Refreshments and lunch will be provided for all delegates. There will be an opportunity to view the Mars Rover prototypes during the breaks.

Aims

• Opportunity to network and discuss KS5 Maths experiences.
• Showcasing the professional development on offer from AMSP.
• Tasters of Work Group sessions offered by the Maths Hubs.

Who will benefit from attending?

All teachers of KS5 Maths from the East of England region. Places in the first instance will be limited to one person per school.
