New ITTECF launched on 30th January 2024

A single curriculum framework resulting from a review of the Core Content Framework and the Early Career Framework was launched on 30th January 2024. The DfE have responded to feedback from schools and Teaching School Hubs particularly with respect to SEND, mentor capacity, subject specificity, duplication of content and progression from one year to the next.

We believe this to be a positive step forward to address some of the concerns schools have had.
Richard Gill, chair of the Teaching School Hubs Council, has discussed the ITTECF in this TES article. Damian Hinds, the Schools Minister, has an article in Schools Week.
We are offering two half-hour online briefings to explain these changes further on Tuesday 13th February, one at 8:15 am and a second at 4:15 pm. These are drop-in sessions; there is no need to book.
