Measuring the impact of an NPQ

Engaging in an NPQ represents an investment of time, resources and expertise from programme members, school leaders and specialist facilitators alike.

So, what is the return on that investment?

Whether it’s an aspiring subject leader developing their knowledge of Leading Literacy, or a Senior Leader seeking to take the next step on their career pathway to Headship - what impact does completing an NPQ have on the individuals undertaking the course, the pupils and staff in their schools and settings?

Saffron Teaching School Hub spoke to school leaders, programme members and expert facilitators on our NPQ programmes to measure the wider impact of the NPQ programmes – and to find out more about how engaging in an NPQ had positively impacted pupils, staff and schools.

Expand the headings below to read about the impact of an NPQ through the lens of a school leader, programme member and expert facilitator.
