Preparing for the Education Inspection Framework: 27 January 2021

This online course is designed to help primary school Headteachers and Deputy Headteachers prepare for the for the Education Inspection Framework.

Essential Governor Training: 1 March 2021

This online course is for primary school governors and will be led by Jan Meyer, a Co-Chair of Governors who has experienced an Ofsted Inspection under the current EIF Framework.

Course date & times: Monday 1 March, 19:00 - 20:30

Cost: £70 per delegate

What does the course cover?

  • Prior to the training Jan Meyer will complete a website review for your school
  • Access to an online pre-training task
  • Jan will share the processes and systems for governance developed at schools
  • Provision of all resources following the session
  • Follow on support if required

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Status: 23 March-19 May 2021

This online course is for Teaching Assistants who wish to gain HTLA status. This is a 7-part course; delegates need to attend all sessions.

Course dates: 23 March, 13 April, 20 April, 27 April, 4 May, 11 May, 19 May

Cost: £1050 per delegate (if delegates do not have GCSE English and Maths, there will be an additional charge of £25 to take the required English or Maths test, or £40 to take both tests)


  • Do you need quality staff in your school to cover PPA, INSET and sickness? 
  • Do you want to offer career progression to excellent support staff in your school?
  • Do you have professional Teaching Assistants who know your school and have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification) or are willing to take a test to prove they are working at this level?

Teaching Assistants:

  • Would you like to train to be a Higher level Teaching Assistant?
  • Do you already lead whole classes or large groups and feel you could move to teaching whole class lessons?
  • If you have at least one year’s experience or more in the classroom and feel ready to take the next step in your career – this could be the course for you. Please note – we can support you in taking an English or Maths test in the absence of a GCSE or equivalent.
