Science Learning Partnership - Cambridgeshire & Peterborough

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Science Learning Partnership is one of the regional representatives of STEM Learning.

We provide science CPD and support for all phases of education (Early Years right through to FE) and all career stages (Early Career to Head of Science/Primary Subject Lead), as well as supporting technicians across our region.

We offer network meetings, stand-alone courses, conferences and bespoke CPD, with a new programme of activities available every term. We are very conscious of the tight budget that all schools face and are pleased to be able to offer accessible and affordable subscription packages.

Along with our STEM network partners we can support you with all things relating to science teaching and STEM careers.

Areas covered:

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough SLP covers the Saffron TS Hub areas of Braintree and Uttlesford (as well as Cambridgeshire and Peterborough).
Schools in Epping Forest, Chelmsford and Harlow are covered by the East & North Herts, Essex, Beds & MK Science Learning Partnership.

Primary: Science CPD staff meetings

As well as our primary CPD courses, we offer primary staff meetings. There are three options that schools can choose from:

Working Scientifically
Thinking Doing Talking Science
Essential Formative Assessment in Science

These 1-1.5hr courses can be delivered face to face or online during whole staff meetings or inset days, and can be delivered to multiple schools as joint inset. Expand the heading below for further details of each option.
