A single curriculum framework resulting from a review of the Core Content Framework and the Early Career Framework was launched by the DfE on 30th January 2024. On 13th February, we held a briefing about the new ITTECF to look at what has changed.

What are the changes?
In the new framework, the DfE have responded to feedback from schools and Teaching School Hubs particularly with respect to SEND, mentor capacity, subject specificity, duplication of content and progression from one year to the next.
We believe this to be a positive step forward to address some of the concerns schools have had.
On 13th February, we held a briefing about the new ITTECF and outlining the changes. For those who were unable to attend, the slide deck from our ITTECF briefing can be found here.
NASBTT have also produced a clear outline of the changes, comparing the old frameworks with the new one.
