NPQ launch events – connecting colleagues, developing networks and sharing aspirations

This week, Saffron Teaching School Hub hosted launch events for our new cohort of National Professional Qualifications.
The purpose of these events is 3-fold: to connect committed colleagues from across our Hub region, introduce our team of fantastic facilitators and share our collective intentions and aspirations for the programmes.
It is always inspiring to find out what has motivated colleagues to take this next step in their professional journeys – and the responses did not disappoint:
-
To develop strategies to support a wide range of children to be included and successful in school
-
To deliver impactive professional development and support teachers to implement best practice in their classrooms
-
To gain the knowledge and expertise to lead teams effectively and ensure a shared ethos across our school
-
To work with and learn from experienced professionals to better understand the complex role of a headteacher
We have an incredible team of facilitators guiding programme members through their NPQs. Our thanks to Helena Marsh, Colin Rarity, Darryl Crawley, Sophie Denyer, George Athanasiou and Kerrie McGivern – all experts in their prospective educational fields, but also in the art of facilitation.
We look forward to following the progress of our programme members.
