As we all know, the long-awaited education white paper was published this week. At 44,000 words, it's an intimidating document to approach as a nice bedtime read. As a white paper is a precursor to legislation, a set of proposals rather than a cast-iron commitment, you may understandably feel that your time is better spent elsewhere.
