The RISE Universal Offer provides CPD opportunities to schools across the East of England.
Three Universal RISE networks are taking place across the East of England:
These networks provide CPD opportunities which are DfE-funded, so there is no charge to schools.

Disadvantage Network
Reducing the Disadvantage Gap: Reception Year Quality Showcases
The Disadvantage Network is hosting a number of events in March 2026 to showcase effective practice in Reception Year.
The showcase events are free to attend (max 2 per school) and will take place across the East of England region. Each showcase will cover 2-3 areas of practice.

The KS2 Attainment Network, also known as the RISE East of England Teaching Exchange, brings together schools, trusts and leaders into a connected regional network, supporting collaboration and shared learning alongside practical KS2 support. The Exchange is delivering a co-ordinated programme of webinars to provide clear, practical support for schools to raise Year 6 attainment.
Sessions have been designed to be role-specific for teachers, subject leads and headteachers, focusing on practical, immediately useable support.

KS4 Attainment Network
The KS4 Attainment Network aims to connect schools, trusts and leaders through collaborative, themed conferences that focus on practical solutions for long-term impact. The conference series is designed to share proven strategies, resources and expert insights that help schools tackle key challenges in raising attainment.
Upcoming conferences:
- 12 March - Getting reading right in Key Stage 3: this conference focuses on investing in Key stage 3, with a focus on the teaching of reading, with practical strategies, strategic thinking and advice from those who have a track record across the East of England of real impact over time.
- 24 March - Designing and delivering great professional development: this conference focuses on professional development. We know that long-term improvement is about investing in improving teachers over the long term; this conference focuses on how to design and deliver truly impactful CPD. You'll hear from sector leading experts and school leaders who have driven success in their own settings about exactly what they did to earn that success.
