Teach First Delivery Partner Conference

As a Delivery Partner with Teach First, Saffron Teaching School Hub was delighted to participate in the Teach First Delivery Partner Conference on 18 March, hosted at The Ravensbourne School in Bromley.

It was inspiring to hear from Teach First’s new CEO, James Toop, who shared the organisation’s future mission and ethos. The morning continued with a powerful session on ‘Building the Capacity for Change’, exploring the ‘Golden Thread’ and what it truly means to develop change‑makers.

Throughout the day, there were fantastic opportunities to connect with Delivery Partners from across the country. As always, it was a real pleasure to spend valuable time with our colleagues from Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Teaching School Hub.

The day ended with an excellent session on ‘Pitch and Progression across the ITTECF’, reflecting on how the three-year framework supports development from the start of ITT right through to the end of ECT2, and how high-quality mentoring helps ECTs move towards automaticity in their practice.

A genuinely thought-provoking and energising day, leaving us motivated to deepen our impact through the delivery of our Early Career Training Programme and NPQ programmes.
