Stepping Up: ITT into ECT Conference – May 2026

On Tuesday 19 May 2026, the Eastern Region Teaching School Hubs held their annual online ITT into ECT conference for primary and secondary trainee teachers moving into their ECT year in September 2026. This free conference provided valuable insights and support for this crucial career phase.

Conference attendees were able to:

  • Find out more about the ECT induction programme across the Eastern Region
  • Hear from current ECTs about their experiences and challenges
  • Learn about the support available during the induction period
