Stepping Up: ITT into ECT Conference - 22 May 2025

Calling all Initial Teacher Trainees! The Eastern Region Teaching School Hubs are excited to announce this year's ITT into ECT Conference, set to take place on Thursday 22 May 2025 from 4:30pm to 6pm.

This online event is designed specifically for trainee teachers who will transition into early career teachers (ECTs) in September 2025.

Themed 'Stepping Up,' the conference aims to provide valuable insights and support for this crucial career phase. It is open to both primary and secondary trainee teachers. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

Discover more about the ECT induction programme across the Eastern Region
Hear from current ECTs about their experiences and challenges, and how they have overcome them
Learn about the support available during the induction period
